McDade ISD is located in the charming community of McDade, Texas located approximately 35 miles from Austin.

McDade ISD consists of students from Pre-K through the 8th grade. Each elementary grade level has one teacher for each grade as well as an optional split grade level for grades 1/2 and 3/4. McDade Elementary is truly a working village. Teachers work well together and share creative ideas with each other.

Students can participate in basketball, volleyball, track, and cross country. Additional activities includes pep club, chess club and astronomy club.
